Eos Software Download Site has been redesigned
Posted August 26, 2009
The Eos Software Download site, http://download.eos.ncsu.edu, was redesigned during the summer and boasts a new file server that enables the download of large files.
The Eos Software Download site is available to NCSU faculty, staff, and students. It uses Shibboleth, a web single sign-on package that has been set up to allow logins for users at NC State University and each of the other UNC System universities.
Many of the applications on the download site are available for use on personally-owned machines by NCSU faculty, staff, and students. However, certain applications are restricted to specific populations. When an individual accesses the site, a list of applications will be displayed that are permitted for use by that individual.
NCSU-affiliated individuals may contact eoshelp@ncsu.edu for assistance with questions.
