Homework 1

Part 1

Download and complete the Homework 1 Questionnaire. Grades will be determined using the following rubric:

  • Questions 1-10 are worth six points each, for a total of 60 points.
  • Question 11 has you e-mail the completed Word document to yourself and your instructor, for another 20 points.
  • Question 12 has you create a PDF document from the completed Word document and submit it via the WolfWare Submit website (see online text for help) for the final 20 points.

Part 2

Part 2 will prepare each Laptop student's computer for the next few weeks of material of E115. This part is OPTIONAL for traditional sections. Each student is responsible for having working Remote Access, File Transfer, Application Access, and Print to File software. Choose your operating system below, and follow the installation instruction for each program.

Note: Traditional students are NOT required to complete this homework. However, if you are interested in accessing the campus network environment from the comfort of your own home, these instructions are greatly useful.
