Color

Excel allows you to make text and cells different color. While this can be useful for reading the sheets on the screen, remember that they will print in black and white (dithered) and may not be readable. Use color sparingly, or play with it before you commit to a sheet design.

	Click on a single or range of cells.
	Click the Color button for Font or Background.
	Choose a color from the palette.
	The color of your text or cell has now changed.
