Graph Creation
To create a graphical representation of a set of data, first highlight the range (continuous or noncontinuous) and use the Insert Chart buttons.

Graph Setup
The Chart Type pane is displayed. From this pane, the format and presentation of the chart will be determined. The first pane selects the chart type. In the Range field will be the data selection that you have chosen. If one wasn't highlighted before accessing the pane, the ranges can be entered manually in the field or by using the Data Range button.

Graph Types
In the next pane, determine and preview which chart type to use. Not only can you select from Excel 2007 presets, but you can click the All Chart Types button to see a list of all graph types. Below is a short listing of the graph types.
- Line Graph
- Area Graph
- Column Graph
- Bar Graph
- Pie Graph
- Scatter Plot Graph
- Net Graph
- Stock Graph
Once a graph type has been chosen, click Ok.

Graph Labels
If you go to the layout pane, you can choose to edit the graph's fields. The graph Title, X-Axis, Y-Axis, Z-Axis, and Legend can all be displayed on the final product. When all fields have been define, click Ok.

Finally, the graph is presented. It can be resized using the anchors, and the various options set in the Layout Chart pane can be altered using the above toolbar.
