Personal Lockers
Students, faculty and staff may request individual lockers with configuration set up for web and non-web AFS space. Two directories are automatically created in the locker when it is requested: www for holding content delivered to the web, and private with no web access. Content in the www space is automatically served to the web from http://people.engr.ncsu.edu/unityid/.
Procedure for Requesting a Personal Locker
- REQUEST A LOCKER. All COE students, faculty, and staff can request personal lockers.
- Select Personal.
- Specify quota needed for private volume.
- Specify quota needed for www volume.
You will be notified by email when the space is set up.
Path to Personal Lockers
Personal lockers are accessed by the path:

Important Notes!

- Content in the www space of the locker has the URL of http://people.engr.ncsu.edu/unityid/.
- PHP is supported in Personal www space, no CGI, SSI, perl, jsp, asp, etc. (see http://www.eos.ncsu.edu/web/).
- Backups are made daily and kept for 23 days, but you should save regularly to external media and know the procedures for restoring lost files.
