WinSCP is a freeware SCP (Secure CoPy) client for Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP using SSH (Secure SHell). Its main function is safe copying of files between a local and a remote computer. It was developed by Martin Prikryl. Procedure
InformationAutomatic ConfigurationDownload Configuration File. Double-click the file to enter the appropriate information into the Windows registry. Note: If the winscp.reg file is loading in your web browser instead of downloading, right-click on the link above and select Save as... Manual ConfigurationBasic Tab: Enter the hostname of the server you wish to connect to in the Host Name field. Servers are listed on the Campus Remote Access Servers page. Enter your UnityID and password into the User name and Password fields, respectively. Advanced Tab: Click the Enable Compression checkbox. Select the Stored sessions tab: Click Save and enter a session name to save all of the settings

Use the following information to edit the Target field: The option inclusion of a session name at the command line causes WinSCP to load configuration details out of a saved session. You need double quotes around the session name if it contains spaces, e.g.,
