Inportant note about ExpanDrive for Macintosh
If you have previously downloaded ExpanDrive 1.3.3 for the Mac from the Eos download site, you may be prompted by the software to upgrade the application. Do not install the 2.0.1 upgrade from the vendor site at this time. It will install as a trial version that will expire. The 2.0.1 upgrade for the NCSU campus will be available on the download site later this summer.

Matlab Installations for COE Student-Owned Computers

College of Engineering students may have Matlab installed on their computers by the Eos lab consultants or the ITECS Help desk.
SolidWorks Installations for COE Student-Owned Computers
College of Engineering students and students taking Graphics Communications courses may learn the details for having SolidWorks installed on their computers.
Application software is acquired for the three supported platforms in Eos labs: Sun Solaris, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and Microsoft Windows. College of Engineering faculty request software to be installed on Eos to support their classes. The College of Engineering Computer Committee reviews and approves these requests and renewals of software.
- College of Engineering faculty may submit a New Software Request form for new applications to be considered by the COE Computer Committee.
- College of Engineering faculty may submit a Software Upgrade form to be considered by the Computer Committee for existing applications.
