SolidWorks Installation on College of Engineering and Graphic Communications Student Owned Computers

Students enrolled in Graphic Communications (GC) courses or engineering students enrolled in College of Engineering courses may have SolidWorks installed on their personally owned computers. GC students may take their computers to 412 Poe or 400 Poe for installation. College of Engineering students enrolled in COE courses other than GC courses may have SolidWorks installed by an Eos lab consultant in 203 Daniels or 1203A EB II or the ITECS Help desk in 204 Daniels.

Note: Non-GC students with desktops must bring their computers to the ITECS Help desk during normal operating hours for SolidWorks installation.

Hours for Installation

• Eos lab consultants in 203 Daniels - 24/7.
• Eos lab consultants in 1203A EB II - 8:00 a.m. - midnight Sunday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. Saturday.
• ITECS Help desk - 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday.
• Poe 412 for GC students only- 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday.
• Poe 400 for GC students only- 5:00 p.m - 10:30 p.m Monday - Thursday.

Requirements

• Students must present their valid All-Campus ID cards.
• They must bring their computer power adapters.
• They must plan to stay for the installation, which may take up to 45 minutes.
