This package makes preparation/typesetting of scientific documents using Late as easy, and in many ways easier, than with MSWord. The majority of important equation (including the full AMS symbol suite) and bibliography environments can be entered into a Latex document with a mouse click. Sufferers with MSWord will never want to go back once the power of the Winedt gui and latex/tex is understood. Note that in spite of the accolades, neither winedt nor the miktex implementations are perfect.
